The Diary of a New Yorker Living in Clark County

Hello.

My name is Sir Jones.

I'm a Brand Architect, storyteller, photographer, publisher, and the Co-Founder of Teddy Blaze alongside my business partner and Chairman, Artez Bailey.

For years, people have asked me what Teddy Blaze is.

Is it a streetwear brand?

A golf brand?

A luxury brand?

An Americana brand?

The answer is yes. And no.

Because Teddy Blaze was never really about clothing.

Teddy Blaze is a diary.

A diary told through apparel, accessories, souvenirs, home goods, magazines, and the stories we choose to wear.

I was born in New York. New York shaped how I see the world. The people, the neighborhoods, the energy, the culture, the humor, the hustle, the contradictions. It all became part of who I am.

Then life brought me to Clark County, Nevada.

Like many New Yorkers who move away, I thought I was leaving home.

What I eventually discovered was that home never leaves you.

Every graphic. Every collection. Every product. Every story.

They were all postcards.

Messages from a New Yorker learning to love where he lives while never forgetting where he came from.

The Harlem collections.

The Fort Greene collections.

The Knicks references.

The jazz musicians.

The bodega cats.

The Timbs hanging from lamp posts.

The cultural memories.

They were never trends.

They were memories.

Over time, I realized something else.

Clark County wasn't replacing New York.

It was teaching me something different.

New York taught me how to dream.

Nevada taught me how to build.

New York gave me personality.

Nevada gave me perspective.

New York taught me to move.

Nevada taught me to breathe.

Today, Teddy Blaze lives between those two worlds.

In the spring and summer, Sir Jones misses New York.

In the fall and winter, Sir Jones appreciates Nevada.

The House of Teddy Blaze exists in that space between memory and gratitude.

We are not interested in fitting neatly into a category.

We believe style should tell stories.

We believe fashion should have personality.

We believe luxury should smile once in a while.

Most of all, we believe the best products are the ones people remember.
