The composition brings together Black figures, raised-fist symbolism, the African continent and Sankofa imagery beneath the commanding message BLACK UNITY. RECLAIM IT!
Rendered in rich red, green, gold and black, the artwork connects cultural consciousness with the visual language of Afrodemia Americana. The message is not nostalgia for nostalgia's sake. Sankofa asks us to retrieve what remains valuable from the past and carry it forward with purpose.
Built from a substantial 210 GSM cotton-blend jersey, the tee combines softness, moderate structure and a touch of stretch. Its boxy oversized proportions create a relaxed silhouette with broad shoulders and generous room through the chest.
